ABOUT SARAH F. HILL

Sarah F. Hill graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2003, and was hired as an Assistant District Attorney in the Johnson County District Attorney's Office that same year.  While working in the District Attorney's Office she worked in the Domestic Violence Unit for four years before she began working in the Drug Unit.  In March 2007, she was promoted to supervise the Drug Unit; she was in charge of that unit for 14 years.  She trained law enforcement and attorneys across the State, and is widely recognized and considered to be an expert in drug cases in Kansas.  She understands how drug cases start and are investigated, including clandestine laboratories and synthetic drugs.  She has insight into current drug legislation, including marijuana and industrial hemp.  She has also prosecuted distribution resulting in death cases.

Her knowledge is not just limited to drug cases.  She was a successful attorney in the office who had an eye for small details.  Because of that, she was entrusted with some of the most complex cases that entered the office.  She has tried homicides, sex offenses, conspiracy cases, property crimes, dogfighting, DUIs, and domestic violence.   She has also had trials involving civil asset forfeiture.

She formed the Law Office of Sarah F. Hill, LLC in 2022, in order to help and advocate for a wider range of people.  Her experiences at her former employer have made her a fierce, compassionate, and effective advocate.  She still maintains an eye for detail and she is ready to put that to work for you.
